The project's goal was to build a team of instructors capable of delivering high-quality, hands-on first aid training for civilians.

Under the project, four instructors completed specialized training and gained the skills needed to run courses.

What the Project Involved

Instructor training combined theoretical content with hands-on practice on dedicated training equipment. Participants learned:

  • cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) protocols
  • use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
  • protocols for controlling life-threatening bleeding
  • tourniquet application
  • wound-packing techniques
  • basic first aid protocols for emergencies

Equipment

To support quality hands-on training, the project purchased:

  • a CPR training manikin
  • wound-packing practice stations
  • training tourniquets
  • an automated external defibrillator

Results

Two first aid training sessions were held under the project, with 60 participants in total (30 per session).

With a trained team of instructors and its own training equipment, the Foundation can continue running first aid courses for civilians and strengthen community emergency preparedness.
